I am a biologist with 6 years of tutoring experience both online and in person. I have been a biology and English tutor in these years.
I taught in an English private school in Spain where my subject was Combined Sciences (biology, chemistry and physics) and I prepared my students for GCSE exams.
I am easy-going, flexible and always adapt to my student's needs. I am sure we will find the way that suits you best and makes it easy for you to learn.
I incorporate videos, games, representative explanations and discussions into my lessons while covering knowledge gaps and completing tasks. My lessons are thinking-oriented and interactive. I believe that teachers can learn as much from their students as the students can learn from them, so I am always open to questions, ideas and improvement.
I like to teach one on one as well as in small groups (5 people max) online, so if you have friends who would like to join our classes, bring them along. That way you learn together which speeds up the learning process, it is more fun and gives you more confidence.
Biology is my main subject but I teach chemistry and physics too and if I see that there is missing background knowledge in any of these subjects that affects the chosen one, I go back to the gap and teach it, so we can progress with in depth knowledge in the required subject.
First lesson is for free, and is longer so we get to know each other and can have goals set and plans laid.
