Dominic O'malley

Hi! I'm Dominic, a student who’s just finished learning Italian (my fourth language) in Rome. I’m now back home in London, and starting in October, I will be studying English at Oxford University (New College).

I'm passionate about my subjects and I want to share this love of learning with you, my students. My lessons have an interactive approach; for me the most important thing is that you get a really deep understanding of the topic at hand. My philosophy is that when you start to see how something works, the learning becomes very easy and, most importantly, much more fun. That being said, I know what school is like, and so I can also simply help with homework or cramming before exams.

• I can teach English Literature, History, French, German and Art up to A-Level.

• I can teach almost all other subjects from KS1 up to GCSE, particularly Maths, Sciences (Biology, Physics and Chemistry - combined or separately) and Italian.

• I also have some experience teaching English as a foreign language.

• I can help with UCAS and Oxbridge entry preparation: personal statement, admissions tests and interview practice.

• If you have a specific request which is not on here, tell me! I am very flexible.

Personal qualifications:

• I studied at Westminster School, gaining twelve 9s at GCSE (History, French, Maths, English Language, English Literature, German, Latin, Ancient Greek, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Art) and three A*s and one A at A-Level (English Literature, History, French, Art).

• I will be studying English Language and Literature at New College, Oxford University, from October 2025.

• I have just finished attending an Italian language school in Rome and am now available for in-person lessons in London, and online lessons everywhere else!

I will offer a test lesson for free.
