Dimitra Psyllou

Hello! My name is Dimitra and I am a third year biology student at the University of Oxford with a 2.1 and I will be pursuing my Master's in October at the University of Oxford. I have experience tutoring students for the biology questions of the IMAT and BMAT exam. My focus is on being able to clearly communicate my knowledge to the student to help them understand the content and be able to apply the knowledge to exam questions. I have recently completed my International A-levels, where i got an A* in both biology (obtained full UMS marks for the A2 component) and chemistry and an A in maths, so i can help with exam technique and understanding of the content. Throughout my degree, I have studied a lot of ecology and evolution, cell/molecular biology. I am patient, friendly, enthusiastic and flexible to tailor the tutorials to the student's requirements and level - feel free to discuss this with me during the lesson. I aim to make the lessons interactive and enjoyable through the use of tables and diagrams to make the information easier to understand and remember.
