Hey there! I am Diane and I will be your math tutor

I use the first FREE lesson to get to know your learning style; meaning are you a visual learner? Are you an avid note taker? Once that is established I show you how best to learn your problem areas in your desired learning habit.
If needed I can re-teach the topic or simply give you tips and tricks for quizzes and exams that ensure you reach what you’re aiming for! I do this with the aid of previous exams and textbooks as well as any aids you bring along to our lesson. This is an interactive session where I teach but also you show me how much you are picking up! That way we don’t lose each other and if there is something that does not makes sense, we know where to pause and resume.

I have plenty of patience and there is no such thing as a stupid question nor redundancy in asking; I am here to ensure you understand the course work fully and thoroughly. I will go through numerous examples; especially the kind that can get tricky under time pressure. My favourite tool is preparation before exams as we can really tap into the test anxiety I know plagues some students minds. I believe with more exposure to the types of questions you will come across and practicing these problems in test conditions, we will conquer it together.
