Advert description
My diverse experience in educational roles has equipped me to effectively teach students from Year 7 to Year 13, including those with special educational needs (SEN), fostering academic growth and building confidence.
As an A-level mathematics Teacher at a school in Towerhamlets, I successfully led Year 13 students through two years of curriculum in under one year, achieving B/C grades despite initial gaps in their education. My tailored lesson plans, proactive communication with parents, and individualized support created a positive learning environment and improved outcomes for all students, including those needing additional guidance.
As an Academic Mentor at another school in Tower hamlets, I tutored Year 13 students in A-Level mathematics, designing personalized study plans and addressing key weaknesses. These efforts improved grades from D/E in mock exams to B/C in final assessments. As a Learning Lounge Mentor at a different school, I supported younger students with exam preparation, homework, and SEN-focused interventions, helping them build confidence and succeed academically.
Currently, as a Mathematics Tutor at a tuiton centre based in tower hamlets, I provide personalized instruction to students across all secondary levels, ensuring lessons are engaging, adapted to individual needs, and supportive of vulnerable learners. My approach combines clear explanations, interactive activities, and consistent reviews to reinforce understanding and academic success.
Beyond teaching, my experience as a Teaching Assistant has honed my ability to support SEN students, monitor progress using tools like Excel and SIMS, and create differentiated tasks to meet diverse learning needs. I’ve also supported extracurricular activities, enhancing the educational experience for all students.
In every role, my commitment to student success, tailored strategies, and focus on inclusivity have been instrumental in achieving measurable results. I am eager to bring this dedication and expertise to your team, empowering students to reach their full potential.
