Firstly, my format typically involves a clear and structured plan. This includes having a defined objective or learning outcome for each lesson, as well as a logical sequence of activities that build towards achieving that goal. It can also be useful to vary the format of the lesson to keep students engaged, for example by alternating between lecture-style instruction, group discussion, and individual tasks.
In terms of content, I ensure to tailor to the level and interests of the students, while also challenging them to learn and grow. Providing real-world examples and practical applications of the subject matter can also help students to see the relevance and value of what they are learning.
In terms of dynamics, I believe in active engagement from the students. This can include asking questions, encouraging discussion, and providing opportunities for hands-on learning and experimentation. It's also important to create a supportive and positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes.
Finally, my experience will play a valuable role in the success of a lesson. Experienced teachers are often better able to anticipate potential challenges or misunderstandings, and can draw on a range of teaching strategies to address them. Therefore, my aim is to create effective lessons by being well-prepared, enthusiastic, and responsive to their students' needs.
