I would tailor my lessons to an individual’s needs, if there are strengths that I can identify then these will be encouraged to boost confidence and any weaknesses that are present will be addressed in a patient and reassured manner.

Throughout school i felt that it can be easy to silently misunderstand a concept in a topic and pupils can go through their whole school career with no understanding. However with the 1-on-1 style of learning, this gap in learning can be filled in and there will always be room for questions even if they seem like silly questions, they must be asked.
