I am a passionate tutor dedicated to supporting the students I teach. I recognise that not every student is the same and all have different needs and learning skills. I access their level and then build them up from them. I create a safe (virtual) space so the student never feels intimated or scared to make mistakes and fail. Whilst I believe in making my students feel comfortable and supported, I still will push them outside their comfort zone. I will challenge them to aim higher, go that little further in their work and responses. Having been both a tutor and tutee, I've learn't some of the best ways to interact with students.

I have over 135+ hours of tutoring experience.
Having previously been a student ambassador of the Russell Group University Queen Mary, I often worked with, taught and mentored prospective students. I am a good communicator and have over 6 years of public speaking experience. This has helped me be able to communicate my ideas, thoughts in a clear, concise and engaging manner.
During my time at school I worked constantly with the younger years teaching them how to play the piano, providing singing lessons and dealing with their concerns.

I truly believe English doesn’t have to be difficult. I make learning engaging and accessible by breaking down complex texts and teaching essay techniques that will impress any examiner.
