Lessons can be designed for you depending on what you want, or they can follow the specific curriculum you follow for Food Technology GSCE or A level. Or, you might prefer parts of the curriculum you have a special interest in (human nutrition, food and the environment or public health); or perhaps you need to get your head around food quality, the law and hygiene.

We can widen the content too - so your background knowledge is better. Here we are worried about all the additives used in food but what about all those that are used as *non declared* processing aids? What products do they enable through their functionality and ultimately what is the overall impact on our health?

Knowing your way around the landscape that affects food production; who decides what we eat - and why; will leave you better placed to answer questions. Seeing how trends and fashion all impact food will show how health can be impacted. It’s all fascinating and there’s more to it than we might first think!

Cookery lessons can be arranged and may be summarised to facilitate on line teaching. They can be about commodities or about dishes themselves. Get in touch if you’re unsure for a no obligation discussion to find out if this is appropriate for you.
