We will work through each topic ensuring the content and skills being covered is feeding into your long term memory and is not just laying at that initial layer of knowledge, we will do this through a 5 minute recall at the start of each lesson. Recapping our prior knowledge and skills, stemming from both the previous sessions and the lessons you are undertaking at school.

There will be comprehension tasks, as well as some debate and call and response style activities.
Finally, your long-write skills will be challenged, I will be looking to set a long essay based question for each lesson, to ensure you are able to consolidate the content, and enhance your writing kills to be able to formulate a response which challenges your learning and allows you to extend both your explanation and analytical thought processes.

Finally, we will end on a plenary, where we recap the session, and look into the key messages you have taken away from the session and if there are any misconceptions which we can now address in preparation for the next session.
There will be opportunities for assessment and feedback, where we will go through each assessed piece and ascertain how these can be developed and the journey we need to take to ensure our writing is at the highest level it can be. We will have time to improve on our previous work, and use those improvements as a learning tool in preparation for the next assessment, to ensure progress has been made.
