Daniel Sweeney

I have been teaching guitar professionally for 15 years. I have taught for 3 different music services and also privately. I can teach any age (the majority of my students are primary and secondary school age) from beginner to grade 8 and beyond in a number of different styles. I have a proven track record of getting students to the standard they desire. I also teach songwriting, composition, music production and music theory, which is useful for any students studying for GCSE and A level.
My lessons are fun and creative. In the first year of lessons I will teach you all the essential guitar techniques, music reading, improvisation, chords and tab as well as building your repertoire of songs. I always tailor the lessons to a students unique musical interests and taste. So it doesn't matter if you want to learn classical grades, jazz or the complete works of Metallica, I can adapt to what you what to learn without missing anything out.
I have a music degree (BMus) but also a vast amount of music industry experience, writing, recording and producing my own songs and touring. So I'm well placed to help you achieve whatever ambitions you have.
