I am someone who studied mathematics in high school and successfully got an A* in my IGCSE’s and an A in my A level and AS. This could benefit the students I work with as I have an understanding of the topics they are learning Moreover, I have gone on to study mathematics at queen at Queen Mary University of London which has given me an immense understanding into the topic. I was a part time private tutor in my home country Malawi and I was providing lessons to students mainly for mathematics. I did both online and in person lessons and it helped me improve my teaching ability greatly. I did this during the summer when I completed my A levels and I was able to learn how to approach online tutoring sessions as well as how to help students when they didn't quite understand something and I was restricted to the online environment. I have worked in tutoring before and I have done this in more than one country. Therefore, I have experience with different groups of people as well as different ages which has provided me with the ability to apply my skills accordingly to the person I am tutoring. Currently I am studying mathematics with finance and accounting at Queen Mary University of London and I am in my first year. Prior to this I was at Saint Andrews International high School where I completed my A levels in Mathematics, Geography, history and an extended project qualification where I managed to acquire three A grades and one B. I also completed my IGCSE's in English language, English literature, Mathematics, Geography, history, Physics, music, French and Economics.Furthermore, i achieved a score of 8.5 in my academic IELTS which is a speaking, reading, writing and listening test. I am excited to bring my innovative ideas and teaching styles to this job to help students gain from this so I hope you can consider me for this role.
