A lesson usually starts with warming up, through exercises that combine hand/foot technique and coordination or/and counting. An exercise can become a drum pattern to which I aspire to play or sing along, in order to create an even more musical environment and example in practice. Also, I use pre-existing songs or play alongs to enhance the music experience. In general, the lessons are divided in three parts: technique, vocabulary/songs, and improvisation. I can also help you with music reading and theory.
I adapt the class on my student’s needs and it is my goal that they gain more than Drum know from me.
