I am not new to the tuition experience and lifestyle and I am aware of the commitment it takes. In the introduction lesson, I will discuss which topics my student is confident in and which topics they need more assistance in. I will also ask them about their current grades, along with the grades they strive to achieve in their actual exams. I will regularly take my students through past papers as they are the most efficient method for improving. In addition, I teach my students revision techniques for both mock and real exams.

I will adapt based on my students' individual needs and I will also explain anything they need on request. I work from the AQA Triple exam board but generally, all exam boards are quite similar. I will set homework but it will only ever be to complete one page of four or five exam questions or depending on the student, it will be to watch a video that I believe would improve their understanding of the topic.

At the end of each lesson, I will send an email to the parent of my student, reporting on their attitude towards learning, their current working level and any significant signs of progress. I am also able to offer advice to my students about exams and share my own experiences as a young person.

Sometimes, I will use slides to present and teach too as I find them effective. I work best with students who are generally self-confident with a positive learning attitude and clear enthusiasm.
