The use of everyday examples and visual prompts lies at the centre of my tutoring session. My past experience in teaching a wide range of different learners has proved to me that by using relatable examples and images which can trigger memory responses has been successful. Not only has this brought the best from my students but keeps their attention on the lesson and makes the lesson more enjoyable. My lessons are structured around an initial period of learning using presentation slides and individual questions followed by a period of answering past paper. For me a student must be comfortable to learn effectively hence why I aim to provide a supportive and encouraging environment when tutoring.
