During my time at sixth form, I spent 2 years as a classroom assistant, working along side members of staff in the history department and learning effective teaching techniques. During my time at sixth form, I spent 2 years as a classroom assistant, working along side members of staff in the history department and learning effective teaching techniques. These techniques have been further developed in the tutoring of family members. The content I use will mostly be based of the curriculum so students can learn effectively to achieve the best grades they can. However, I will individualise techniques so that each student can learn the way that suits them best, as no student is the same. The first session will mostly be looking at what the student wants out of the sessions and identifying the support that will be required to help them reach their goals in history.
