In my GCSE English Language and Literature lessons, I focus on creating a supportive and interactive learning environment tailored to each student's needs. Each lesson is carefully structured to cover key content, practice exam techniques, and build confidence in both language and literary analysis.

I begin with a brief recap of prior knowledge to ensure understanding and then introduce new concepts. For Literature, we dive into key texts, exploring themes, characters, and literary devices through detailed discussions and activities. I help students develop their analytical skills by guiding them on how to interpret quotes, identify techniques, and structure essays effectively. For Language, we focus on improving reading comprehension, creative writing, and writing for different purposes, helping students master grammar, punctuation, and sentence structure.

I bring in past exam questions and timed exercises to practice real exam conditions and improve time management. My aim is to make lessons both engaging and informative, so students feel confident in their abilities. I also offer constructive feedback on written work, highlighting areas for improvement and providing strategies for progress.
