I tailor my teaching to the individual. Different people learn differently and this is important to take into account. Depending on your age, ability level, and goals, I employ a conversational style to put you at ease and train your ear to some of the quirks of spoken English. I also make sure to spend time going through your writing and ensuring that you are able to sound like a native speaker when submitting work such as university essays and dissertations. My decade-long career in academic editing means I am really well placed to advise on assessments, whether at school or university, and to offer more general academic advice about the UK system.
