Hello my name is Percy and I’m a recent university graduate. I’m from Hong Kong.

For my lessons I want to be more free-flowing and more tailored to the student’s specific needs and future uses. Though I will be using material available online, I aim to mainly use them as a baseline for more basic knowledge. The bulk of the teachings I hope will be via non-education focused videos or materials that fits more closely to the students needs and uses, and hopefully keeps lessons interesting.

I prefer face-to-face lessons as I personally believe this is the most memorable and efficient method to teach others. If the student prefers online lessons however I will adapt my methods to suit the student’s needs.

Though I don’t exactly have tutoring experience, I have acted as an assistant ice hockey coach for young kids between the ages of 7-15. I do realise that coaching sports and tutoring academics is vastly different, hence I do not expect to know everything from this previous experience alone, and hope to learn more about the specifics of tutoring over time.

I am a new tutor so there will be deficiencies in my teachings and lessons. But I’m willing to learn and receive input from the student on what they want to learn/practise specifically.
