With a BA and 1st class MSci in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge, I have an in-depth understanding of the maths, physics and chemistry knowledge required at GCSE and A-level and I have experience in tutoring across all syllabuses and exam boards. I have been tutoring since 2022 so I have tutored well over 2500 lessons. My students have improved their grades substantially, often coming to me with poor results from mocks but then attaining great results in their final exams.

Parents sometimes come to me looking for short-term tuition for their child. This could be in the run-up to exams, mocks or if their child has received a poor test score and some short-term tuition would aid understanding of a certain part of the course. More typically, parents come to me for long-term help for their child in a particular subject.
I have a personal teaching approach, and believe in adapting this approach to suit the student. By providing feedback to the student and parent, and asking for feedback in return on how they are finding the lessons, any difficulties can be ironed out. Lessons typically involve going over subject material the student has covered recently in school, however in the run-up to exams there is often a switch to exam practice papers and revision of key concepts. In each lesson I assign homework to the student to encourage retention of concepts we have discussed which I am happy to mark.
