Hi I have experience of being a secondary school English language teacher for about 1 year and tutoring Chinese for 6 months. I like language and I think it should be fun, and should be learned during communication. So for kids I prefer Total Physcial response method and for others communicative language teaching is my favourite.
I offer different different levels of English and Chinese teaching and I like language teaching be fun! We listen to music, explore what’s lyrics about that (language point) we need to learn, students are allowed to have a lot of time to speak and to practice their speaking as well. Teachers should not be dominant, but cooperative parallel with students :)
