I teach online but am happy to commute provided you are in the area. I study at Oxford University, and my teaching style aims to mirror the ‘tutorial’ system we follow here. My sessions are led by the student’s own goals, and facilitate a collaborative effort between myself and the student, so that the tutee feels actively engaged and therefore motivated to learn.

My hours are flexible, especially later in the evenings which may be convenient if the student wishes to attend clubs, after-school activities etc. My primary aim with my students is to build their confidence in the subject, which is the biggest catalyst for motivation and therefore academic success. I can tailor work to specific exam boards if necessary.

I have experience as an English and French tutor - one of my students is herself coming to Oxford to study French. At A Level, I received A*A*A in English Literature (with full marks on my coursework), Media Studies and French, respectively. I also received an A* in my French speaking exam. I now study Art History at Christ Church, Oxford, but maintain my love for my A Level subjects in my own time.
