I tutor both Maths and English from KS1 up to GCSE, having taught students in Vietnam, Spain and the UK. I have extensive experience working with learners of all ages, especially with young people. I have worked in education since 2013 and I have been working as a tutor since 2017. I have also got experience working with A-level students.

I am experienced in providing entrance exam preparation (7+ and 11+) and Alternative Education Provision, with extensive experience with students who have educational needs, as well as mental health issues such as anxiety. Additional experience includes facilitating creative writing workshops. I am conscientious, hard-working, and passionate about learning.

I have a calm manner, and aim to make lessons focussed but fun, providing students with empathy yet firmness in order to maximise the time they have with me. I also provide homework and expect this to be completed in order to make the most of the lesson time.

My main vocation is tutoring, and alongside this, I maintain my artistic practice and produce arts events, while training to be an Art Psychotherapist. My favourite pastime is reading, and I find nothing more relaxing than being outside in the sun with a good book, at the beach or a swimming pool. I also love the arts in general, attending exhibitions and live events, watching films, playing board games, and learning new skills such as languages and musical instruments. I have been learning Spanish for many years, and recently took up Turkish. I also learn the ukulele in my spare time.
