Look, I'll be the first person to admit that I am a massive nerd. I really like Maths (and just science in general). I'm friendly and bubbly, and I promise I will try my very best to make Maths a little bit less rubbish for you if you give me the chance!

I have limited tutoring experience (3 hours), hence why I have a competitive price.

I think all sessions should be student led; by this I mean that we will work together to make sure all of your concerns are heard and essentially the session tailored to your individual needs.

I use the 'I do, we do, and you do' teaching method. This means I will work through a problem, and check in with you to make sure you are understanding the process (I do). Then we will do one together, so once again I can check that the foundation of understanding is correct (we do). Then finally, I will test your knowledge with some exam questions (from the exam board that is pertinent to you), and then use the mark scheme to mark them (you do).

I actively encourage students to ask questions if they don't understand an explanation. I always strive to tailor an explanation to the student; what resonates with one person, may not with another.

I really like maths, and I also believe that tutoring sessions shouldn't be completely onerous. I promise that you will feel more confident in your Maths ability if you choose to have a session with me.
