I have worked in the local real estate scene as an appraiser and East African capital markets as a trader for the past 7 and 5 years respectively. During that time I have mostly been involved in financial mathematics in the valuation, analysis and investment in sovereign bonds, forex and more recently global stocks and ETFs. My lessons will be largely case based with real - world application of concepts; we'll basically be engaging in a discursive manner so you can enter into your person with the concepts as this is key in whatever capacity you hope to apply the knowledge - a sense of conviction and an ownership of opinion. Math and particularly financial math concepts become easy to navigate and juggle in your mind when given context - it will be fun and very empowering for you not only academically or professionally, but at an individual level.
