I am an 8th year Medical student and I have recently completed PhD in global neurosurgery at the University of Cambridge during my medical studies at King's College London, and I hold a previous BSc (Hons) Degree (1st) in Anatomy and Developmental Biology. I am now a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Cambridge alongside my medical studies.
With now almost 13 years of studying and exams under my belt, I can appreciate the various challenges a student may face in their academic life - how and what to study outside of the classroom, how to deal with the pressures of exams - I hope to impart some of this knowledge and experience in my lessons to really help my students push their perceived boundaries forwards and excel to the best of their abilities in school and beyond. I have particular expertise in portfolio building and making your application to medical school stand apart from the crowd.
My teaching methods are catered to the individual, where a pace is found that is both well-suited to the student but challenging in order to make progress. I teach all of my lessons remotely, using e-Whiteboard technology and a vast collection of resources.
I aim to provide my parents with weekly progress updates detailing the work we've done in lessons so far, in addition to lists of topics with traffic-light progress so we always know what areas we can work on together to excel.
As a perpetual student myself, I have years of experience in tutoring from 1:1 tutoring and 11 Plus all the way up to a classroom of graduate level. I now regularly supervise up to 16 undergraduate and graduate medical students at the University of Cambridge in Neurophysiology & Psychology.
I look forward to guiding you!
