Hi! I have 2+years of teaching experience in Geography. I generally use Mapping technique and diagrams to explain the concepts of Geography. I use Diagrams as they gives the best explanation to the students. Pictorial form helps the students to understand the concept easily and quickly. The location of mountains, rivers, position of weather etc can be easily understand by maps.

I also use the visual aids and smartboards and projectors to ramp up the lesson in class. Some students can absorb information and have a deep understanding of it from hearing the lecture alone. But other are the visual learners and require a little something more. Geography is the subject which cannot be understood only by listening the lectures it also requires the visual representation.
