I passed all my GCSEs in high school, including an A* in Music. I also studied at Newcastle College for 2 years and gained a diploma in Music Performance, and I am currently studying in my first year of uni, on a BMus (Hons) Popular Music course for a degree.

I have played guitar and ukulele for 6-7 years, and have also dabbled in drums, piano and bass guitar. I can teach students with electric or acoustic guitars. I also have tutoring experience. In 2021, I worked as a freelance online and in-person guitar tutor for around 6 months.

I tend to keep my lessons fun and interesting, making personal lessons to wrap around a student's needs. As well as teaching guitar, I will go a bit into music theory as it definitely helps with understanding guitar as a whole.

I like to teach with power-point, as it can be visually interesting and if you have any questions that need answering I can always pause to help out. I can also send you these power points after a lesson so that if you forget something, you can always backtrack!

I always ask what a student wants to learn from guitar. Is there a specific person you admire, or a genre of music you always enjoyed listening to? I can add these interests into my presentations so you can learn what you love!

My lessons typically last from 45 minutes up to an hour. Do keep in mind you will need your own instrument!
