The first lesson is getting to know the student and their perspective on art as a subject. I will ask about their backroung and why they're doing art and what they hope to get out of it.

We will then explore their interests, what styles or aesthetics theyre drawn to and if possible display any work they're confident with. We will target weaknesses or areas they don't feel confident or if they have any goals they want to achieve. I will also ensure to incorporate things they're interested in to make the lessons more engaging.

From then on, as a tutor I will ensure I will be developing and refining my student's skills and confidence so they can get the grade they deserve. We will explore their past work together identify weaknesses and what I know they can develop on.
