When teaching I like to use a variety of methods and techniques so that the lessons can be as engaging as possible! I try to cater to each students needs and will have as many resources available as possible in order to help in the best way that I can. I am also happy to share copies of my own revision resources that I used myself in order to help students with their own individual revision outside of my tutoring lessons! Although I don't have any paid experience as a tutor, I have worked with and helped many younger students with languages on a voluntary basis in the past. As someone who has very recently finished in the school system, I am very aware of how the GCSE and A level language courses are currently set out and therefore I will be structuring lessons around the skills and techniques needed to reach your desired grade in French or Spanish! Depending on the students wishes and availability I am happy to provide lessons from 45 minutes to 2 hours and I am flexible as to when these lessons can be. When exams get closer I am happy to do practise exam scenarios which would be particularly helpful for oral exams. I also have a lot of experience with the IRP coursework part of the A level qualification and I would be happy to provide support with that part of the course. My qualifications are with the AQA exam board but I have knowledge of other exam boards too!
