I enjoy her lessons. And she explains the vocab and grammar very well.

Annette is an amazingly good tutor! She is always well prepared, keeps the lessons interesting and versatile and is very thorough, professional, easy to communicate with, open and responsive to feedback and knowledgeable. I feel that I have made great progress in my French thanks to Annette. I wouldn’t anyone else as my tutor!

I've been learning German with Annette for about two years. She is very clear and methodical, but also friendly and flexible in the way she runs her lessons. We have a fun time, and I've learned more than I expected (given my lack of homework!).

Annette is a very experienced language tutor with a wonderful personality. I have been learning German from her for almost 2 years. I can truly say she is one of the best teachers I've ever had-and that is saying a lot considering I have a doctorate degree and have learned other languages in a classroom setting. Annette has to ability to hone in on a student's weakness to work on those skills and the ability to recognize their strengths. She does this all with a calming and gentle demeanor that both encourages you to work diligently and to also appreciate the gains made. She has worked with me on pronunciation, increasing my confidence to speak conversationally with native speakers, and remaining detail-oriented; so this is more of an immersive experience rather than a perfunctory attempt at a new language. I am truly grateful for my opportunity to learn from Annette.
