My Lessons
I offer online tuition in English language and literature, creative writing, English conversation, acting and audition technique and public speaking. In person tuition is available in all of these things along with piano and singing. My lessons are tailored to your individual needs. First of all I will get a sense of what it is you need help with, and then I will make a personalised plan to help you achieve it. My approach to teaching is a good balance of structure and freedom. I believe that play is an important of the learning process and I like to get to know my students and create a rapport. I appreciate that everyone learns in different ways so I don't have a "one size fits all approach" to teaching.

About Me
I am a creative polymath with a degree in English from UCL and a drama degree from Central School of Speech and Drama. I write and perform songs and have won awards as a performer and lyricist. I am passionate about language as a tool of communication, creativity and empowerment. I can teach you how to get the most out of reading, how to analyse text and write essays, as well as how to find your own voice as a creative writer. I have tutored students through GCSE and A Level English, and my approach is to engage and inspire you, as I believe that successful exam results follow from finding your own connection with the subject.
