I used to help tutor the lower years while I was in sixth form so I have a bit of experience in teaching, I personally feel like being taught by someone roughly around the same age provides a sense of comfort and makes learning a lot easier. Much like typical lessons I will prepare power points and handouts for each lesson which will be based on a personalised choice of topic, adding in quizzes and activities to enhance involvement with learning. I will also use a form of monitoring to keep track of the student's progress with consistent feedback on improvement and what they are doing well on.
