Andrea Medina-Beesley

I am a student at Kings College London, currently studying English BA. I have a passion for English Language and a love for grammar, achieving grades A*A*A in English Literature, Spanish and Fine Art during my A-levels. I offer tuition for primary school, KS3, GCSE and A Level with everything in between. I have a very open schedule, and I can do both in-person and online lessons.

My style is engaging, and made to provoke interest. I value discussion and interactive activities over handouts as they develop more skills. I encourage my students to ask questions and point out any queries - this can often give us a platform to go off, as well as letting me know their weaker areas.

I can assist with other elements of academic and school life such as personal statements, essay writing and exam preparations. As your tutor, I can promise personalised lessons to accomplish your long-term goals, focusing on weak points for quicker results and progress.
I have tutored students in Spanish grammar, as well as assisting with GCSE exam preparation through past paper walk-throughs and homework. Having been taught much of my higher education online, I understand the differences between online lessons and face-to-face, and I am able to adapt accordingly.

My experience in English, specifically essay writing and critical analysis, has made me a perceptive and analytical advisor when it comes to correction and improvement. With great communication skills and a variety of different teaching techniques, I tailor lessons that fit the students' needs in a friendly and welcoming way.
