All tutoring starts with getting to know the child and making them feel comfortable, followed by an assessment to identify the child’s gaps. Once these are identified we will work through them systematically

All lessons will then follow a format of:

-Retrieving previously taught knowledge
-modelling the key piece of learning for the session
-practising the key piece of learning for the session
-working independently on the learning for the session

I will also read your child’s teaching plan for the subject and their curriculum handbook to ensure that the methods taught are the same ones they are using at school.
