I have tutored many of my friends in order for them to complete certain tests. I would use past papers and various sources to help others in learning. As I am still learning myself I can offer a familiarity and relate to the student in ways others could not. I am currently studying English Literature at a-level and am achieving B's in the subject. My methodology is that in order to help a student to improve you need to help relate to their situation and not over complicate things if you know more. I would actively help the student through the lessons and help engage them in their school classes not just online. I will help student find new passions in the subject they may have not thought of before. My lessons would include introductions, lesson overview and a quick test at the end that would be questions according to the lesson. At the end of each month I would conduct a small test in order to evaluate where the student it at and ask them personally what I could do to further their improvement. I will also ask them to let me look at any school work they have available or any tests they have the marks for to see where they could improve. I would obviously help the student prepare for upcoming tests if they have any so they feel confident in their work and in their ability. I hope to make the subject fun for the student.
