Amber-Jane Mccrone

I am currently in my eighth year of studying law full-time. During my studies I have achieved an HND in Legal services which I was awarded an A for each of my three Graded Units, a 2:1 LLB (Honours) degree in Law, a PgDip in Legal Practice and I am currently working my way through an LLM in Criminal Justice and Penal Change. The last eight years of being in education has equipped me with the ability to write and learn at several different levels.

I have also completed a HNC in Professional Writing Skills which has equipped me with the skills to proof read, analyse and correct both creative and academic text to a high standard. This will assist with giving students guidance on essay structure and planning strategies.

I am a friendly and approachable person with a very flexible schedule. I will tailor tutoring sessions to my students as every person learns differently! I am happy to go at whatever pace students feel they are comfortable with. We can discuss any academic struggles you are having and work on them together in a way that benefits students above all. I aim to be a motivational and encouraging person when it comes to my tutoring and will deliver a fun and interactive experience. I am happy to bring materials that I think will be of use to the tutoring session or alternatively, I can work with materials that students are working on.

I am happy to carry out my sessions online or in-person in any public place in Glasgow City Centre.
