My lessons are usually for 90 minutes, since one hour is not enough for practice, which I believe is as important as the lesson itself. My lessons are based on the students` ILOs ( Intended Learning Outcomes) in other words, I ask the students what they hope to get out of this session/ course and then design the session/ course accordingly. Knowing the students and their backgrounds always helps....

I encourage student-based learning; in other words, the students will be doing most of the work, and my job is to guide and supervise them, unless they need my help, then of course I will step in. And finally, I do not encourage the use of native languages in class unless the student is absolutely desperate, or if needed, I translate a difficult word for students.
