Lessons with me include an insight into how we can break down the assessment objectives of English as a whole. Writing an essay is no easy thing and so I intend to solidify your fundamentals to the point that you attain linguistic acumen which you can apply to set texts I don’t even teach: all skills are transferrable and effective no matter what. I will be teaching larger concepts like Critical Theory, providing websites and resources with which you can enhance study, introduce you to typically A-Level subject terminology, and most importantly, serve as someone who will make sure your ideas are coherent and well communicated, as many struggle with the very concept of essays. Model full mark answers, all of which I self-write, will be provided for reference as to where exactly the points are coming from.

Lessons with me in general will be quite open-ended in that I wish to encourage you to foster your own ideas; I am merely here to bring them to life and teach you how to effectively communicate and prove your standpoint. Much will involve discussion, furthermore, I also offer essay-marking as a skill given that I’ve undergone a training from some AQA examiners themselves.

I will also provide you with options of external reading should you wish to enrich your learning further. Consequently, I’ll be showing you ways you can certain educational materials like books for cheaper, as I understand that money is a large factor and want to make everything as accessible as possible.
