As an Industrial/Organizational Psychology consultant, I have experience developing training programs for various companies. As a learning analysis intern with Tesla, I assisted in determining the collision department's training requirements. In my present line of work, I enjoy determining each person's needs through a needs assessment and then, from there, developing custom learning tactics and materials for each of my clients. To verify that learning has taken place, I use pre- and post-test measurements. During the first session, I allocate ten minutes to developing Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-Bound (SMART) goals that align with individual learning objectives. At the end of each session, I will provide a detailed report of how that lesson went and what the objectives that need to take place the next time we meet. Concluding the week the client and I will review how the week went as well as the status of the SMART goals.
