Hi there, I am Alex, born and raised in Venice, Italy.

I have a degree in Economics from F.Foscari in Venice and I have more than 7 years of experience teaching live classes to local and international adults.

I taught classes from level 1 to the most advanced levels and I have the following certifications:

DITALS Italian Certification for teaching Italian as a second language
CILS and CELI administrator, certified by the University for Foreigners in Perugia and Siena in Italy.
ICDL International Computer Driving Language
TKT Teacher’s Knowledge Test

I also travelled around Egypt to teach Italian to companies, especially Petroleum and food organization.

My method of teaching is very friendly, starting from the basics if needed, focusing on grammar, spelling, intonation, culture, traditions etc.

I love being a teacher as it give me the chance to meet extraordinary people from all over the world, teaching a beautiful language in a professional but very easy way. I believe the basics of Italian are essential, they give the opportunity to understand the language faster and in a more intuitive way.

I am also very passionate about my mother tongue and I will make sure that my classes are very interesting, dynamic, fun, diverse and especially getting the students to speak and lose their fear of expressing themselves in Italian.

After just few classes with me you will have enough confidence for you to be able to speak with both native speakers and non native speakers.

Furthermore I will also be able to teach you Italian in order to gain the proficiency certificate from Perugia or Siena.
