Is an Italian Native and Qualified teacher with many years of experience in Teaching Italian, at all levels of competences, both in private and in Adult Learner settings, such as colleges in Exeter and Torbay area.
‘My Teaching Italian is carried-out with enthusiasm and deep passion to facilitate your Learning, and to ‘share knowledge’ about my beautiful country and culture'.
‘Your Learning Italian will be supported in a relaxing environment with the aim of encouraging your confidence and communication in Italian’.
I have strong interpersonal skills: I like to develop positive relationships with students and create a welcoming learning environment.
I plan and deliver individual or small-group lessons and I use my own creativity and expertise to adapt coursebook and materials to the students.
Every lesson is planned to be interactive and engaging, adapted and tailored to meet learners needs and preferences, while aiming at promoting communication and strengthening confidence.
Setting and agreeing targets will be, therefore, vital to create an individual learning plan, and progress will be monitored and recognised through a personal skills audit.
Teaching and Learning methods are always based on exploring different resources related to all the areas of the language, to develop listening and speaking along with reading and comprehension skills.
I use a variety of resources to keep learners engaged, such as images content related, videos and audios, and reading resources, followed by a range of guided practice activities.
Lessons are offered on a one-to-one basis or to groups, and at different levels:
- A1, A2., B1, B2, C1, C2 - from Beginner to Proficiency in line with the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).
- GCSE and A Level exams preparation
- Proofreading of essays, assignments, and dissertations
