Italian for everyday use

I am Italian and have a diploma in classical subjects. This means my studies have been mainly in Greek, Latin, and Italian including literature.

I moved to the UK in the year 2000 and in 2012 I achieved a Level 3 Community Interpreter Qualification. Since then I have been interpreting and translating for Italian speakers during appointments in hospitals, councils, GP surgeries, mental health settings, prisons, solicitors, etc. I have also been an invigilator for GCSE and A levels Italian examinations.

I regularly watch Italian TV and go to Italy on holiday to visit my family, I often see Italian friends living in the UK like me.
