I taught as an associate professor in the faculty of education of one of the Turkish Universities, namely, Erciyes University. We educated English language teachers in the department. I had a degree in English Language Teaching (ELT), and Master’s and Doctorate Degrees in educational sciences. We educated future teachers of English in the faculty. Also, I have been into curriculum planning and evaluation. I have a good command of applied statistics and research. In addition to native-like English, I have quite an efficient command of Italian and German, and some Greek, Spanish and Russian now. I have been in the field of foreign (English) language teaching for over 35 years. I also taught Turkish to several groups of foreign students who came to Turkey for their studies. I headed a school of foreign languages at the tertiary level and also the department of foreign languages in a faculty of education for four years. I also worked in the testing and evaluation unit for 4 years.
