As a passionate educator currently studying for a BA(HONS) in Education, I am deeply committed to helping students reach their language learning goals. I have always enjoyed teaching and take pride in creating lessons that are both engaging and effective. My experience tutoring diverse students has fueled my passion for education, especially in guiding learners to gain confidence in their abilities.
My lessons are interactive, student-centered, and tailored to each individual's learning style and objectives. I typically start by assessing the student's current level and understanding their goals, whether it's improving conversational skills, mastering grammar, or preparing for exams. Lessons include a mix of structured content, such as grammar exercises and vocabulary building, along with practical activities like role-playing, discussions, and listening exercises. I also incorporate real-world materials like articles, videos, and audio clips to make the learning experience more dynamic and relevant.
With experience tutoring students from French, Belgian, and Chinese backgrounds, I adapt the pace and complexity of each lesson to ensure students are comfortable yet challenged. I aim to create an enjoyable learning environment that boosts confidence in speaking and comprehension while ensuring steady progress. Additionally, I provide regular feedback, set achievable goals, and use a flexible approach to adjust lessons as the student progresses. My ultimate goal is to empower students to not only succeed in their language learning but also to enjoy the process and build lifelong communication skills. I look forward to fostering new connections and interactions with my students. After all I also learn a lot too.
