UCL student offering tuition for Maths and Economics

Currently an Economics major student studying at University College London (UCL). Offering tuition services for maths and economics both at GCSE and A-Level.

I have been teaching for over 2 years now, which includes at a centre as well as privately. I am very easy going and I consider developing a good relationship with my students to be a key factor of success in my teaching. I have experience in providing help beyond academics such as in giving advice on applications to sixth forms and universities as well as on GCSE and A-Level subject choices. As an example, I aided one of my students in their application to Eton college.

I’m a tutor who takes a student-specific approach, identifying each student’s strengths/weaknesses, then planning and delivering lessons according to their needs. I carefully explain each topic and key concepts, demonstrating their application to exam-style questions and building confidence to independently tackle questions under exam conditions. I’m skilled tutoring online and in-person, and I use a design tablet and pen to teach with a virtual whiteboard in class. After each class, I send a full copy of what’s been covered so my students can reference comprehensive notes from our tutorials when they’re revising.
