I am a retired university professor and I have a passion for the teaching and learning of mathematics. I have over 35 years of experience and have supported numerous learners over the years to gain a better grasp and understanding of mathematics.

I am able to provide support across a whole range of topics and through almost all of the levels, from basic manipulation of numbers through the various key skills KS3/4/5, to undergraduate, post graduate and even to providing additional support for PhD students and practicing applied mathematicians working in industry or research organisations.

Mathematics is the language of Science and Engineering and it cuts across linguistic languages around the globe. I strive to encourage a better understanding by solving mathematical problems. Mathematics is a subject that is best learnt by doing.
