I have 18 years teaching experience and I am an outstanding teacher of languages. I create engaging lessons and I cater for all abilities. I teach French up to A level and English, Spanish and Italian KS3. As a skilled classroom and online practitioner, my teaching has consistently been recognised as outstanding with particular strengths in high expectations, behaviour management, planning, engaging, creativity, encouraging, independence learning and differentiation. My experience encompasses teaching a range of classes, including very challenging groups where I have had to modify my teaching in order to meet their needs whilst still maintaining high expectations of work and behaviour. I have also taught high achieving classes where I went beyond the schemes of work to stretch them further. In addition, for the last 10 years, I have worked in schools with a higher-than-average intake of EAL. Vitally, I am committed to not only help drive the best possible outcomes for all pupils through teaching and learning, but also to encourage and support a collaborative working environment that maximises the progress and the potential of students. 96% of my top set last summer achieved Grades 9-7 with the remaining pupils achieving Grade 6. 100% of my middle set, achieved Grades 9-4; 83% achieved Grade 5 or above and 13% received a Grade 7. plan lessons taking into consideration the individual learning styles, preferences and differentiated capabilities of each child. ). Further, I create and implement a variety of engaging, fun and progressive resources in my lessons, such as card games, board games, ICT games, video clips, pictograms, songs, music and other original materials. Through rigorous lesson planning and preparation, I ensure that all four skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing) are methodically covered. I am proud that pupils and colleagues have spoken highly of me and of my lessons which are engaging, creative and purposeful. I adapt my lessons to teach children with additional educational requirements, including those with hearing impairments and behavioural difficulties, and also Gifted and Talented children. I possess a solid knowledge of safe-guarding, operational compliance and data tracking.
