Online Tutoring for Primary School English and English as a Foreign Language

I have been teaching primary school age children in Bristol for 7 years and I have experience across many different ages and educational needs.

For the last 5 years I have taught reception and I have excellent subject knowledge of the early stages of reading. I am also experienced with teaching children with additional needs. I am trained in Makaton for supporting children with speech difficulties and I am familiar with PECS to help children build their vocabulary and sentence structure.

Further to this, I was also the Art lead in my primary school and I have spent the last 2 years developing a therapeutic approach to creative projects to support children with their emotional literacy. I am confident that I could bring a fun and expressive approach to supporting children with their learning.

I would love to support children with the challenges they face with reading, communication and writing. My approach to this will be to nurture and motivate them with their learning to become resilient and enthusiastic pupils as they move up through their primary school years!
