I am a double graduate with both teaching and TEFL qualifications.
My educational values are probably best exemplified by the belief that it is never too late to learn, and that education is a marathon not a sprint. Your background, social status or previous experiences of an education system should not be an inhibiting factor to your dreams of self-improvement, whether that's through increased employment opportunities or just a desire to become more proficient in English.
Clearly all lessons should have precise aims and objectives, and these would be negotiated with all learners, but your lessons would be both interactive and fun; two essential ingredients for a stimulating experience.
